About Us
Epwa (Epe Professional Women’s Association) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the upliftment and betterment of women and girl-child from underprivileged backgrounds in Epe Division, Lagos State. Our primary focus is to address the challenges faced by women and girls in the community and empower them to leave fulfilling lives.
Our Objectives
- To improve the area known as Epe Division of Lagos State for the benefit of the indigenes of the area;
- To serve as formidable pressure group for the benefit of the people of Epe Division particularly the women.
- To educate women according to the professional requirement and encourage them to grow further in life.
- To give support to women and girls of domestic violence.
- To Encourage/Empower Women to get involved in their communities to make a difference.
Our Mission
Our mission is to uplift and empower women and girl-child from underprivileged backgrounds in Epe Division by providing educational opportunities, fostering personal and professional development, advocating for their rights and well-being, and creating a supportive community that encourages their active participation and contribution to society.
Our Vision
To create a society in Epe Division where women and girls from underprivileged backgrounds have equal opportunities, access to quality education, and the necessary support to thrive, empowering them to become agents of positive change.
